Mills Structural Corporation is built on the principles of integrity, hard work, and a commitment to excellence in all we do, on and off the field of business.

Our Daily Operations:

1. Morning Briefings and Safety Protocols

Each day at Mills Structural Corporation begins with a comprehensive morning briefing at 6:30 AM. This meeting includes all team members. The briefing covers the day’s project goals, specific tasks, and any updates on ongoing projects.

Safety is our top priority. Every morning meeting includes a review of safety protocols and a toolbox talk focusing on specific hazards that may be encountered on the job that day. We emphasize the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), proper tool usage, and adherence to OSHA standards.

2. On-Site Erection Operations

By 7:00 AM, our erection crew is on-site, ready to begin their work. Erection tasks vary depending on the project but typically involve:

Quality Control: Each piece undergoes rigorous inspection to ensure it meets our high standards and project specifications before operations begin.

Setting Up Cranes and Equipment: Ensuring all machinery is positioned correctly and safely.

Installing Structural Steel: Using cranes and hoisting equipment, our skilled erectors position and secure steel components.

On-Site Coordination: Erection supervisors coordinate closely with project managers and other contractors to ensure seamless integration of our work with other construction activities.

Safety Inspections: Continuous monitoring and inspection to maintain a safe work environment.

3. Lunchtime and Midday Safety Review

From 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM, the team breaks for lunch. This time also serves as a moment to review the morning’s activities and address any safety concerns or incidents.

4. Afternoon Work and Project Wrap-Up

At 12:30 PM, work resumes. The afternoon is dedicated to continuing fabrication and erection tasks, with a focus on maintaining the momentum of the morning. By 3:30 PM, teams begin wrapping up for the day. Tools and equipment are safely stored, and the site is secured.

5. End-of-Day Review

At 4:00 PM, the management team conducts an end-of-day review, evaluating the day's progress and planning for the following day. Any issues or deviations from the plan are discussed and resolved.
